BSA Troop 476
Chelsea BSA Scouts Troop 476 supports the development of boys into responsible young men through the tried-and-true program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Scouts acquire a variety of skills designed to help them succeed in the world while also providing opportunity to become great leaders.
As per BSA, Troop 476 is a boy-run organization with parent leaders proving to be essential in providing resource, guidance and assistance as necessary.
Troop 476 is dedicated to supporting boys along the journey in achieving their own unique potential. All Troop 476 Scouts learn outdoor and leadership skills while enjoying a variety of fun and challenging adventures along the way.
To date, 75 Scouts of Troop 476 have earned the highly respected rank of Eagle Scout. Boy Scouts of America shares that “’Eagle Scout’ is not just an award; it is a state of being. Those who earned it as boys continue to earn it every day as men. That is why an Eagle Scout IS an Eagle Scout—not was.”
Boys/young men of Chelsea Troop 476 bring all types of interests and talents to the troop. They are athletes, musicians, actors, active outdoorsmen and solid students. All efforts are made to support a well-rounded experience of youth to include both Scouting and other extracurricular interests.
