Chelsea Trail Challenge

Join us in exploring the many trails that are right in Chelsea’s backyard!

This event is sponsored BY ____________ and coordinated by the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce.

  • Accept the challenge – kayak/paddleboard/run/hike/bike/snowshoe/ski/swim/horseback ride (as able/permissible) any of the trails listed on the Chelsea Trail Challenge List (which can be found at the bottom of this page) between February 1, and November 30.
    • Take a photo of yourself at the trailhead or on the trail.
  • Every new trail submitted below is an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. This year we have three grand prizes!
    • $500 Gift Card to - Chelsea Outfitters
    • 1 Adult Stand Up Paddle Board
    • Trek Marlin 5 Cross Country Mountain Bike - Thank you to Aberdeen Bike for supplying the bike.
  • Log just 10 different trails and you are eligible to pick up a free hiking utility bracelet or official Chelsea Trail Challenge Sticker from the Chelsea Visitor Center.
  • For every 10 trails you accomplish come in and pick up your 10, 20,30,40, and 50 trails Hiking Pin.

Chelsea Trail Challenge is a full recreational experience.  The lakes are aquatic trails for those who like to kayak, swim, or paddleboard.

How to Submit Your Trail Challenge Entries!

1️⃣ Log in or Register – Click on the Trail Challenge Register form to create an account. If you already have an account, scroll to the bottom of the paragraph and click the login link.

2️⃣ Access the Entry Form – Once logged in, open the dropdown menu labeled Trail Challenge Entry Form.

3️⃣ Submit Your Entry – Fill out the form and hit the Send Message button.

The 2025 Chelsea Trail Challenge has concluded. The grand prize winners have been announced and contacted.  The 2026 Chelsea Trail Challenge will begin on February 1st 2026. Happy trailing!
