Step inside the Old St. Mary/CCA building to see and learn about this magnificent building’s past and present.
As part of the Chamber’s HomeTown Halloween line up, owners Dave & Cyntha Burgoyne will share the amazing living spaces they’ve created, as well as their unique and fun decorating style — celebrating all things October!
The Burgoyne’s purchased the 1925 Academic Gothic Revival styled building in 2016. From 1926 to 1968, it was the home of the St. Mary Catholic School. In 1998, actor Jeff Daniels bought the building and donated it to the Chelsea Center for the Development of the Arts. The Purple Rose Theatre also used the gymnasium area for rehearsals. The Chelsea Center for the Development of Arts closed in 2014.
This is a self-guided tour, but the owners and neighbors will be on hand to show and tell.
