Messy Church at Chelsea First UMC

Messy Church is a different kind of church experience for people of all ages. Instead of a traditional worship service, participants enjoy creative activities, games, music, a brief interactive worship celebration, and a shared meal. It’s a welcoming, relaxed environment where children and adults learn, create, and grow in faith together.

Part of a global Christian movement, Messy Church is offered by thousands of churches worldwide and invites everyone—whether you attend church regularly or have never been before—to experience church in a fun, hands-on, and meaningful way.

Each Messy Church gathering lasts from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., with the activities, worship celebration, and meal all forming one complete experience.
