Murder at the Bookstore
Serendipity Books & Purple Rose Theatre are teaming up!
Where better than a bookstore to enjoy a sneak peek of The Purple Rose Theatre Company’s spring Michigan debut of Murder on the Links, based on the Agatha Christie novel?
A fun new adaptation brings the famed Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, to life to solve one of Agatha Christie’s most intricate whodunits. A cast of six versatile actors embody a myriad of characters as they navigate the twists and turns of this golf-themed comic mystery.
Attendees will enjoy refreshments while mingling with the actors, then take a seat for preview scenes from the play. Following the sneak-peek performances, there will be an opportunity for a guided audience Q&A.
An intimate, unique event to glimpse behind the scenes, chat with the actors, and celebrate the connections created by community bookstores and theatres.
