An Evening of Piano Excellence with Hengyi YE

Join us for an unforgettable evening of music as we welcome internationally acclaimed pianist Hengyi YE in concert.

Born in China, Hengyi YE began her piano studies at the age of five and quickly rose to prominence on the international stage. A laureate of several prestigious competitions, Hengyi’s accolades include winning the International Irmler Piano Competition in 2013, which launched her career as a concert pianist for Irmler Piano. That same year, she claimed first prize in the Hong Kong International Chopin Competition, and in 2015, she became the youngest winner of the Pearl River Piano Competition. Most recently, she earned third prize in the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Competition in 2019.

Hengyi earned her Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School, studying under Dr. Matti Raekallio, and is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Manhattan School of Music, where she studies with Dr. Marc Silverman.
