Pierce Park

Pierce Park, Chelsea, MI

Pierce Park is located on Main Street, just north of Old U.S. 12 as you near the City of Chelsea downtown.  Pierce Park encompasses 4.66 acres of green space that includes a large pavilion, swings, a play structure and picnic areas.  Pierce Park is distinguished by a large rock, moved from the old schoolhouse site at Park and East Street that is regularly painted for local themes and events.

Veteran's Park

Veteran's Park, Chelsea, MI

Chelsea's Vet's Park is located at the corner of M-52 and Sibley Road, on the northern end of Chelsea.

  • The boat-shaped play structure near the road often leads kids to refer to it as "the boat park".
  • The north branch of Mill Creek runs through the park, providing an excellent place for kids to get soaked while trying to catch crayfish.

Timbertown

Timbertown, Chelsea, MI

Timbertown Park is located just off Sibley Road on the north side of Chelsea.  Timbertown is the City’s largest park at 19.02 acres.  The park’s main attraction is a timberframe play structure that highlights key Chelsea landmarks.  The park also offers a pavilion with picnic seating, volleyball courts, hiking trails, and is home to the Community Garden.

Chelsea Dog Park

Dog Park, Chelsea, MI

The City of Chelsea is now taking registrations for its new dog park.  The park is located on the Letts Creek Linear Park Trail, east of McKinley Street, north of the City Treatment Facility.
