Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice

A special viewing of the PBS documentary “WARRIOR LAWYERS: Defenders of Sacred Justice” will be shown at the Chelsea Public Library on Tuesday, February 8 at 6:00pm

This speaker series held at 4:00 pm at Chelsea First United Methodist Church, 128 Park Street, Chelsea, on February 13 is based on the PBS documentary that is particularly timely and relevant given our country’s current reckoning with racial inequity and structural racism.

The documentary producer and speaker for the event, Audrey Geyer, will focus on the stories of Native American Lawyers, and their colleagues who work to achieve Sacred Justice. These often unseen role models strive to address and resolve unique and complicated historical, governmental, legal, judicial, and social issues, which are often rooted in discrimination, historical trauma, and cultural destruction.

The event will be livestreamed on the Chelsea First UMC YouTube Channel.
