This is a new venue for this event and will be outside and inside a large pole barn.
Sponsored by the Michigan Vintage Electronics Club, this event will feature vintage radios, audio and video gear,  records, test equipment,  computer and gaming devices that are 25 years and older.   All for sale by collectors.
This is the first event since our winter 2020 event which set attendance records and sold out all vending tables.   Admission is just $5 per person and 18 and younger ages are free.

BACKGROUND: Collecting and using vintage audio gear in particular has grown substantially in the last decade, in part due to the resurgence of vinyl records.   In addition, many vintage record players have come out of estates in recent years and have been handed down to a generation that is discovering the joy of quality sound from years past.   During Covid, collecting and restoring vintage radios and audio gear surged and repair shops that specialize in vintage gear have a huge backlog of work.
The MVEC was formed in 1985 as the Michigan Antique Radio Club and has since hosted well over 100 collector events across the state.   It is one of the largest and most respected groups in this field.  Michigan also boasts some of the best  parts resources in the nation.   In addition, Michigan had large radio manufacturers in Jackson (Sparton Radio), Detroit (Detrola Radio), Charlotte (Wilcox-Gay ), and Ann Arbor (International Radio Corp) that employed thousands.
