New to Yoga: a series for beginners

Starting yoga for the very first time can feel daunting, and people often believe that they have to be really flexible or look a certain way in order to be successful at it. At Breathe, we subscribe to the idea that yoga really is for everybody and every body, and that, “if you can breathe you can do yoga!” – Krishnamacharya (father of modern yoga).
This 4-week series offers a relaxed pace, no pressure experience where you’ll learn and explore the basics of yoga, including breathing techniques, key postures with their benefits and modifications, and how to develop a healthy and compassionate approach to yourself and your body, whatever your age, ability or level of flexibility. And, you’ll be with other first time yogis so no need to feel awkward or apprehensive at all!
Allow us to take those first steps with you on your yoga journey, and on the path to a healthier, happier you.
(Also serves as a great refresher course for those returning to yoga after a significant break.)
