Limelight Presents Solo Acts: A Theatrical Compilation & Community Conversation on Solo Aging
This free April 18 performance combines storytelling and theatre to increase the visibility of solo agers. This performance highlights individual experiences from culturally, economically and racially distinct solo agers interviewed across Southeast Michigan and Western New York that speak to the collective experience of this growing population.
Solo agers, community groups, city and township leaders, area senior centers and faith organizations are encouraged to attend the performance and stay for the community conversation that follows.
This is a theatrical performance of affirmation with the intent to facilitate change in communities with awareness of the challenges of solo aging.
