Blacksmiths, Soldiers and Log Cabin Weekend

Celebrate Blacksmiths, Soldiers and Log Cabin Weekend at the Waterloo Farm Museum. Join us in commemorating over 100 historic log cabins on Michigan Log Cabin Day Sunday June 26. Working blacksmiths, at their forges, will demonstrate and display their practical and artistic wares. A Civil War encampment, with cannon, will be on the grounds depicting the life of a soldier. Visit Dr Tom in the log house as he talks of medical practices; hear the tale of Kistie’s flour barrel. Observe craftsmen in broom making, flint knapping, spinning and weaving. Tour the farmhouse and outbuildings. Music, vendors and concessions will be available. Come visit June 25-26 10am-5pm
