Christmas in Germany
In this engaging, hands on class learn how to make traditional German holiday treats. Stöllen, the light and buttery bread with candied fruits, a hint of nuts and topped with powdered sugar is a classic holiday favorite. Black Forest Crinkle cookies are a simple way to get the traditional torte in a cookie! Chocolate and cherries with a powdered sugar topping. Students will learn how to make these both from scratch using the finest ingredients. A recipe packet with tips and tricks for success as well as all necessary ingredients will be provided. Anything not eaten in class may be taken home.
The class may go beyond 5pm depending on the Stöllen baking time.
This class is suitable for people 12 and older. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
