Bee Hotels: Attracting Native Pollinators

You have heard that native bees are in decline with the reduction in their habitat, but how can you help? Gabriela Quinlan from MSU will present a short program on these bees and show how you can make bee hotels to attract them to your area. Following her presentation, we will work together to complete a bee hotel for the Discovery Center prairie. There will also be materials for you to take home to make your own hotels. There is no charge for this program, but advance registration is required. Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Rd. in the Waterloo Recreation Area near Chelsea.
