DESCRIPTION:In 2020 the Covid pandemic brought a group of people called the Chelsea Free Methodist Church to desperation when they found themselves without a place to gather. Unexpectantly, they experienced the loss of a lease at the Washington St. Education Center campus, where they met for nearly fifteen years.\nIn summer of 2021, leaders stepped out in faith to fulfill a previously unattainable dream by breaking ground on land purchased in 2002. Generational prayers, years of sacrificial giving, and an award from the John C. Lasco Foundation Trust propelled the debt-free construction of a new 6,350 sq ft ministry and worship center.\nAfter gathering for two years as a drive-in church, we’re excited to relaunch our ministry with a new name and renewed focus. Why a new name? For one, we recognize that we are changed people due to our journey, God is doing something new among us. And two, because Jesus used imagery from everyday farm life to illustrate the Gospel message.
