A laureate of several prestigious competitions, Hengyi’s accolades include winning the International Irmler Piano Competition in 2013, which launched her career as a concert pianist for Irmler Piano. That same year, she claimed first prize in the Hong Kong International Chopin Competition, and in 2015, she became the youngest winner of the Pearl River Piano Competition. Most recently, she earned third prize in the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Competition in 2019.\nHengyi earned her Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School, studying under Dr. Matti Raekallio, and is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Manhattan School of Music, where she studies with Dr. Marc Silverman.\nThis recital promises to be an extraordinary celebration of classical artistry and musical passion.
