This 3 hour group class is intended for families preparing to have an infant and covers the first hours and days after delivery in addition to discussion about how to meet your lactation goals long term. Learning the basics of how to establish and maintain a milk supply before delivery can really improve the outcome of your postpartum experience. Additionally, learning with your partner or support persons can prepare the whole team for what to expect and how to avoid complications and improve rest and recovery after delivery.\nThose in your support system are also welcome and encouraged to join.\nPlease bring water and snacks to meet your own needs and email any questions to Megan at mtrenaryibclc@gmail.com ( mailto:mtrenaryibclc@gmail.com ).\nMegan is a registered nurse (RN) with a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and license as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has worked as a lactation consultant in the hospital and outpatient setting and has been teaching prenatal lactation classes locally for the last six years. She is a local business owner and mom of two humans and one dog. When she is not working in her store she enjoys being outside enjoying the local lakes and woods with her family.\n
