Monitor Base Ball Club of Chelsea

Monitor Base Ball Club of Chelsea creates an authentic demonstration of 1860’s-era base ball.  They emphasize camaraderie and community, fellowship and family, history and hustle.

The Monitors aim to promote interest in the history of our nation’s pastime, the city of Chelsea and its history. Indeed, the Monitor club resurrects an actual ball club by the same name from Chelsea’s early years. We hope to transport our cranks (fans) back to a simpler time. Huzzah!

Home matches are played at Timbertown Park, Sibley Road, just west of M-52 on the northside of beautiful downtown Chelsea.

Games are Free and open for all to attend.
