Chelsea Historical Society to create self-guided walking tours

The Chelsea Standard reports that the Chelsea Historical Society has received a grant from the Chelsea Wellness Foundation to create self-guided historical tours of Chelsea.

EXCERPT: The walking tour of the downtown area will include historic sites recently placed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as non-designated buildings in the community. Such points of interest consist of Main Street businesses, churches, the Chelsea Center for the Arts, the McKune Library, the Clocktower Complex, Chelsea Depot, Chelsea Milling Company and private homes.

The expected release date is late this summer.
