Midwest Literary Walk Welcomes Critically Acclaimed Authors to Chelsea, Michigan
The annual spring Midwest Literary Walk welcomes critically acclaimed authors from all over the country and from various fields of writing, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry and even horror. The festival features readings at venues throughout historic downtown Chelsea, such as the Purple Rose Theater, Chelsea Train Depot, Chelsea District Library, and Chelsea Alehouse. The annual event returns to Chelsea in April and is free and open to the public.
Seeing and listening to an author in person adds a whole new layer of insight into their work. It serves as a reminder that there’s a creative person, made of flesh and blood, behind every book. Public reading events like these are wonderful opportunities to share the experience with other people who love books and ideas as much as you do.
